Crowne Plaza Hotel Old Town Alexandria

During our stay at Crowne Plaza in Old Town Alexandria, we had an amazing time exploring the nearby Nation's Capital. The hotel's close proximity to Washington D.C. allowed our family to indulge in all the historical and cultural attractions the city has to offer. Additionally, we were thrilled to find an outdoor tennis court and a well-equipped fitness center. These amenities provided the perfect opportunity for our family to stay active and have fun during our stay.

In my wife's opinion, the hotel could benefit from having more kid-friendly dining options available.

Chose this hotel for a corporate retreat as it offers 10200 square feet of conference space. The 24-hour business center and express check-out were convenient. The meeting rooms were well-equipped for our needs, facilitating smooth operations during our stay.

I missed having a dedicated concierge service to assist with corporate event-related logistics.

Had a very very good stay with my last visit & would stay here again. For a 4 star hotel everything was lovely, I liked to be here.

I always return to this hotel for my city trips. The staff assisted me with printing tickets on my first stay. It suits me perfectly with Free Wi-Fi, 24-hour reception, Bar, Restaurant, Airport shuttle. The rooms have flat-screen TVs and AC.

Location and staff were perfect, I loved that. The in-house restaurant was good with lots of meals in the menu.

Came in Alexandria to relax and have fun, this brand-new hotel was best base for doing it. I loved the room with a great view of the river, my bed was very comfy. Lots of food for breakfast including sausages, pancakes, cookies and scrambled eggs. Overall really really nice stay of the entire experience.

The dining options were excellent with a continental breakfast and a bar/lounge area, perfect for a nightcap. The facilities were also impressive, with a business center, exercise gym, and wheelchair access. We also appreciated the airport shuttle which was punctual and made our arrival and departure easy. While there were a few minor hiccups with some of the staff not understanding customer service and some issues with housekeeping, they were overshadowed by the amenities and location. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Upscale hotel, fairly clean, employees are hospitable, and location is amazing next to river.

The place was fairly clean with an efficient staff. I got free upgrade and loved it. The hotel was away from hustle and bustle.

I had a wonderful time at Crowne Plaza during my recent stay. The hotel is conveniently located, with plenty of nearby attractions within walking distance. The Potomac River view from my room was breathtaking, and the breakfast buffet was delicious. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they even switched my room when there were issues with the temperature and plumbing. Despite the inconvenience, the second room was lovely. the hotel provided excellent service and great value for money.

The place was brand-new and great relaxing and the staff were welcoming, the location was charming pretty close to the harbor. The room was cozy, warm & had a comfortable bed. Tasty breakfast, excellent service. They had a friendly check-in too.

The hotel is located conveniently close to the harbor and Washington sites, making it a great base for exploring. The shuttle service to DC National airport is very helpful, and the Clique restaurant offers delicious meals. The rooms are clean and equipped with the necessary amenities. Guests can enjoy a nice view of the Potomac River and take advantage of the free shuttle to the King Street area.

The walls and windows are not soundproof, which can cause disturbances at night.

We had an enjoyable stay at this brand-new hotel. The staff was competent, the property was clean and placed in an old part of the city close enough to shops and restaurants.

Great location near the waterfront with a running/biking trail to Oldtown. Comfortable, tidy rooms with Potomac River view. Friendly staff. Good breakfast buffet and restaurant with amazing food and comfortable beds with heavenly pillows.

The bed was very comfortable and the room was spacious. I had an issue with my payment and the front desk staff handled it professionally and efficiently. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport which was very helpful. I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel's décor was charming and had a touch of classic elegance, making it a pleasure to relax in the general areas. The accessibility for senior people was exceptional, with spacious hallways and comfortable seating areas, perfect for taking short rests while exploring the hotel.

More assistance from the children working there when it comes to carrying luggage would be helpful for senior travelers.

The shuttle service from and to the airport was efficient and clean. The drivers were courteous. The location was wonderful, with easy access to charming Old Town Alexandria. The hotel was close to the highway and had a nice staff. The rooms were spacious and clean, with good wifi connectivity. The breakfast was of good quality.

Delicious restaurants within a short walk. Free shuttles to the airport, modern amenities and fitness facilities. Walking tours and river cruises nearby. Places to eat are nearby. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, but I guess not everyone has a sense of humor.

No sense of humor among the staff.

The room was so cozy and inviting, with a comfy bed and a flat-screen TV for some evening relaxation. The in-room coffeemaker was a nice touch for a quick caffeine fix in the morning.

The bathtub was a bit small for my liking, but that's just personal preference.
